The German cinema release of the Disney remake of Herbie on 4 August brought together more than 100 VW Beetle to the premiere party. From Karlsruhe to Ulm and from Heilbronn to Boblingen the beetle enthusiasts found the way to Kornwestheim drive-in cinema at the B27. To present  those traveling legends in front of the screen, there  was a show stage installed on which  each participant's "Ball Porsche" could be presented. As a reward, there was a clean windshield and a souvenir photo with the Carwash girls.

For the soundconcept for the approximately 20 000 m² area MK Veranstaltungstechnik from Welzheim was consulted. To create a balanced sound , the sound specialis choose the new  Nexo Geo S Line array . The organizer Claus Peter King of C2 event management was impressed: Because of the precise GeoSoft  simulation  the sound was also at the back of the car Cinemas present and clear.

Even the relatively short interval between supporting program and the main movie, in which the entire lighting and sound had to be dismounted, put no problem on the event specialists. Within 15 minutes the two line-array bananas and the stage lighting disappeared from the field of view and enjoyment of the movie could begin uninterrupted.

Also as a short interval of  rain shower came up the roofs of the beetels had to be closed, the party went on. Because as known everywhere a  real beetle can be stoped by nothing: it runs and runs and runs ...
